John Njord

During his 12 years as the Executive Director of the Utah Department of Transportation, John led Utah through a transformative period, successfully completing some of the most significant transportation improvements in state history. He has championed innovative project delivery methods including over 70 Design-Build and CMGC contracts, innovative designs, accelerated construction methods and accelerated bridge construction techniques. He is well known for using innovation to complete complex projects on time, on budget and with minimal impacts to the public.
